October 10th, 2023 — There is a heritage barn with out buildings in Burgoyne Bay Park, Salt Spring Island, that has been waiting for years to be restored. It’s made from logs and rough cut timbers and the names of the animals who once sheltered in it could still be found over the stalls. Until recently it was in pristine condition, not a mark on it. A few days ago we walked by during a hike and found it covered in graffiti. It will be impossible to restore.

June 13th, 2023 — Entrance to the trail to Mount Erskine on Salt Spring Island.
June 9th, 2023 — Chair in the shade of a tree on Vesuvius Beach.
June 14th, 2023 — The arbutus tree will grow almost anywhere, even in the remains of a rock quarry in the abandoned Channel Ridge housing development on Salt Spring Island.
May 9th, 2023 — Sunset shadow on Saltspring Island.
February 17th, 2023 — Oil spill next to the ferry terminal at Long Harbour, Salt Spring Island.
