Fort Langley Spring series road race

March 11th, 2018 — There was a strict yellow line rule at this weekend’s Escape Velocity spring series race held in Fort Langley. Too bad pickup trucks towing horse trailers ignored it in the worst possible location. More pictures are HERE or by clicking on the above picture.

Spring Series snow flurries

March 4th, 2018 — The second race of the Escape Velocity spring series took place today at Sumas Prairie during frequent snow flurries. They said it would be cancelled if it snowed but it didn’t snow all the time so they didn’t. There was a significant statistic that came out of this race: 66 of the men dropped out of the race, 0% of the women. A few more pictures can be found HERE or by clicking the picture above.

Kendall Ryan wins

Gastown Grand Prix July 12th, 2017 — It was six abreast into turn one on the first lap of this years men’s Global Relay Gastown Grand Prix bicycle race with Shane Kline of Rally Cycling on the inside appearing to be acquiring a little elbow room from Garneau Quebecor rider Jean-Francois Soucy. New West Grand Prix

Kirsti Lay July 11th, 2017 — With fingers just touching the brakes, Kirsti Lay, riding for Rally Cycling, flies down 6th Street onto Columbia to win by almost a lap the New Westminster Grand Prix criterium bicycle race. Andrew Davidson winner

June 10th, 2017 — At the 2017 Canadian Masters Criterium Championships held in Vancouver today Alberta’s Andrew Davidson immediately established a 20 second gap in the men’s 30-39 age group before crashing. He got up quickly, rejoined the peloton, and then working with Cory Jay, below, established another big gap in the next ten laps before pulling away on his own to win the race.
