Ride the ridge criterium

Brendan Armstrong Ride the ridge 2014

April 27th, 2014 — It’s difficult to know what’s worse, dropping the bike while leading, or turning around while lying on the pavement and realizing there is a good chance half the peloton (below) is about to ride right over you. They didn’t and Brendan Armstrong of TAG Cycling was soon back on his bike and finished the race.

April 26th, 2014 — Jacob Schwingboth takes off his jacket on the climb up 256th Street two laps from the finish of this years Ride the Ridge road race. By this time Jacob was well into his break and had an insurmountable lead. More pictures below.

March 16th, 2014 — The fourth race of the Escape Velocity Spring Series was held in Langley today on the Murchie Road course. It was wet and cold and the spray hanging in the air looked much like sleet.

July 6th, 2013 — The men’s 2013 Tour de Delta Criterium in Ladner Town Centre was won by Ken Hanson riding for Optum Kelly Benefit Strategies. The women’s race was won by Robin Farina riding for NOW and Novartis for MS. There were a few crashes on the narrow course. The one above almost sending a Local Ride rider into the spectators.
