Crits are back
May 7th, 2024 — The first Escape Velocity criterium of the year was held Tuesday night at Glenlyon Parkway in Burnaby. More pictures can be found HERE or by clicking on the above picture.
Marathon
May 5th, 2024 — First up the Camosun Street hill at this year’s BMO Vancouver Marathon was Leo Sammarell from Vancouver in his wheelchair. Next was the eventual winner, Sergio Raez Villanueva from Mississauga, Ontario. Then came the masses, followed by 75 year old John Karow from Scottsdale, Arizona, in last place and by this time already 2 hours behind the leader. I was hoping that John would make it to the end but a few blocks after I took this picture he retired from the race.
