May 9th, 2022 — Construction at Pacific Centre, Georgia Street and Granville Street.
Take the bus
May 2nd, 2022 — The city of Vancouver wants people to use public transit so Translink, the people responsible for public transit, are removing bus stops along the busiest routes in the city. Possibly they think if people have to walk farther to find a bus stop they will be more likely to appreciate the ride.

Vancouver marathon
May 1st, 2022 — Participants in the Vancouver Marathon running up Camosun Street hill near the 10km mark. Among them was Kyle Gieni #5774 in his wheelchair who finished the race in 3 hours 11 minutes. More pictures below and HERE.
Sarah Bird #461 was third to last up Camosun hill but persevered to finish in 6 hours 1 minute.
Dayna Pidhoresky #50 was the first woman to finish. Lanni Marchant was second.
Chris Balestrini #2 on the right was first overall next to Kip Kangogo #3 who finished third.

April 17th, 2022 — The north arm of the Fraser River east of Celtic Shipyards.
Times Colonist
April 21st, 2022 — At one time, very early every morning, a small speed boat left Crofton on Vancouver Island loaded with the early edition of the Times Colonist newspaper and headed to Vesuvius Bay on Saltspring Island. A truck and driver were waiting at the government dock in Vesuvius to pick up the papers and deliver them to homes on the island. Those days are long gone but many of the paper boxes remain, such as this one on Langley Road.
