January 1st, 2022 — Swimmers at Spanish Banks on New Years Day. It’s not the traditional thousands; just ones and twos; a covid swim on an uncrowded beach with social distancing.

December 28th, 2021 — Protect Fairy Creek signs on a snow covered lawn on the west side of Vancouver.
Camper truck
April 9th, 2021 — Homemade camper on a pickup truck parked on Charles Street in East Vancouver.
Subway
December 6th, 2021 — Subway construction on Broadway at Granville Street.
Waiting
December 18th, 2021 — A Christmas tree with potential on the East Mall, UBC, waiting to be decorated .
Keefer rooms
November 17th, 2021 — Keefer Rooms in the 200 block of Keefer Street.
First needle
December 19th, 2021 — A hypodermic syringe found on the grass boulevard of our street. It’s the first needle I’ve found in our neighbourhood.
Moss
December 14th, 2021 — A moss covered shrub in Pacific Spirit Park.
Rental demolition
December 13th, 2021 — Older, affordable walkup rental apartments being demolished to make way for “Chloé, an elegant collection of 48 Parisienne-inspired homes at 47th Avenue and East Boulevard in Kerrisdale”. There’s no mention of price but if you have to ask you probably can’t afford one.
