February 27th, 2021 — Sitting in front of this house about to be renovated in the 1900 block of Graveley Street is a piano far past its best tuned date.

February 24th, 2021 — If you’re ever lost in east Vancouver always remember that moss grows on the north side of the derelict Mercedes parked in a driveway, which in this case is the 400 block of North Slocan Street.

Fish and chips

February 20th, 2021 — There’s not much left of the old Britannia Beach townsite. The buildings that contained gift shops and galleries have been raised off their foundations and set aside for redevelopment of some kind. The fish and chip shop, however, is still there and a local who was just finishing his meal said there would be a revolt if it were forced to move.

The end of sail
