December 21st, 2020 — Glass house dining at the Boatshed Restaurant at Ambleside Beach and below, glass house growing at UBC’s Horticulture building.
The Best of Hare Scrambles
The best, or maybe the worst, of my pictures from hare scramble motorcycles races have been uploaded to a gallery and can be viewed by clicking on the above picture or the link under “Projects and Collections” on the right. The pictures were taken between 1986 and 2009. The above picture is from the legendary Bent Spoke Hare Scrambles at Herrling Island, just west of Hope.

Barely a polar bear swimming
January 1st, 2021 — The annual English Bay polar bear swim was cancelled because of covid but that didn’t stop individuals from finding their own spot, such as here at Spanish Banks, to bring in the new year.

December 4th, 2020 — High rise building in the west end of Vancouver, probably on Pacific Blvd at Thurlow Street, under a tarp while undergoing renovations.
Graffiti
December 3rd, 2020 — The concrete sea walls on the waterfront at the north foot of Balaclava Street have always been targets for graffiti artists. One house, below, seems to have dissuaded them with more conventional art.
