May 3rd, 2016 — There were some nice sprints at the Escape Velocity Tuesday night criterium held last night for the first time this year at UBC including this one for fourth, second, and third between Lief Rodgers, Adrien Thevent, and Paul Blomerus. May 1st, 2016 — Every bicycle race has its ringers especially in the Cat 3 and Masters class. Fortunately at this year’s Ride the Ridge criterium hosted by Local Riders in Maple Ridge the ringer was easy to spot. Escape Velocity Spring Series
February 28th, 2016 — The second race in the 2016 Escape Velocity Spring Series held around Aldergrove Park was cold, wet, and windy especially for those riders who had dropped out and were waiting for the race to end. More pictures from the race can be seen in the Galleries section to the right.

Vanier Park Cyclocross
October 4th, 2015 — It’s unusual for riders to jump barriers in a cyclocross race and very unusual to jump them on the uphill part of the course but it has to be uniquely usual if the rider doing it is not much taller than his handlebars which was the occasion today at the West Coast Racing Trek Red Truck race at Vanier Park when Devo team rider Leif Rogers did the trick lap after lap. August 4th, 2015 — A very close finish in the Cat 4 race last night at the UBC Escape Velocity Tuesday night criterium as Joseph Tam almost catches Jay Delaney at the line.
Gastown Grand Prix
July 15th, 2015 — Ethan Pauly from Victoria’s Tripleshot Cycling won the youth race at the 2015 Global Relay Gastown Grand Prix. More pictures below including the men’s winner Ryan Roth of Silber Pro Cycling and of Trek Red Truck’s Denise Ramsden, winner by a lap of the women’s race.
UBC Grand Prix
July 14th, 2015 — The UBC Grand Prix criterium took place Tuesday night as part of this years BC Superweek series of bicycle races. More pictures to come from this race as well as from the Gastown Grand Prix which takes place this evening, Wednesday.
