Vanier Park Cyclocross
October 4th, 2015 — It’s unusual for riders to jump barriers in a cyclocross race and very unusual to jump them on the uphill part of the course but it has to be uniquely usual if the rider doing it is not much taller than his handlebars which was the occasion today at the West Coast Racing Trek Red Truck race at Vanier Park when Devo team rider Leif Rogers did the trick lap after lap. Aldor Acres Cyclocross
August 31st, 2014 — Mighty’s Fort Langley Classic, first race of the Lower Mainland Cyclocross Series held at Aldor Acres by Mighty Riders and the VanCX Coalition, had the usual tight sections and steep single track hills but this little turn near the end of the woods caused numerous crashes and one very spectacular pass, above, by a rider (left) who passed anywhere and often throughout the intermediate race. Canadian cyclocross championships
Nov 30th & Dec 1st, 2013 — The 2013 Canadian Cyclocross Championships and the BC Grand Prix of Cyclocross were held this rainy, cold, and dark weekend on a course next to Softball City in South Surrey. The big winners were Geoff Kabush of Scott–3Rox Racing and Catharine Pendrel of Luna Pro. Lots of pictures below.
