BC Cyclocross Championships
November 27th, 2011 — The 2011 BC Cyclocross Championships were held at Mahon Park in North Vancouver on a soggy, slick and muddy course.
Above, the eventual winner on the Elite Men’s race, H&R Block’s Aaron Schooler chases Trek Red Truck’s Tyler Trace before Trace fell back with a mechanical problem.

South Surrey CX
November 12th, 2011 — The South Surrey Cyclocross race held at the South Surrey Bike Park hosted by Mighty Riders and Daryl-Evans Racing ended up a cold, wind swept, and muddy event with many dnf’s because of the conditions.

There was mud
November 28th, 2010 — Andrew Pinfold and Tyler Trace ride through the mud pit during the BC Championship cyclocross race at Mahon Park in North Vancouver while another rider shows some originality and runs. Trace won the race with last years winner Evan Guthrie finishing second. Pinfold was third.
Chaos in the corners
November 27th, 2010 — The final race of the BC Cup Cyclocross championship series was held at the Surrey Bike Park which is normally an easy course to get around but a hard rain on top of frozen ground made things slippery for everyone, novice or pro. This particular off camber corner had a large number of crashes.

Lean on me
October 9th, 2010 — Kevin Noiles and Drew Mackenzie lean on each other through a corner during the Escape Velocity Grand Prix of Cyclocross at Burnaby’s Foreshore Park. Noiles finished second.
Helping push
October 9th, 2010 — Tyler Trace of the Trek Red Truck Racing Team gives a helping push to his former team mate Rob Britton as they exit the sand pit during the Escape Velocity Grand Prix of Cyclocross at Burnaby’s Foreshore Park. Riding through the wet sand was impressive to watch but Trace gained 20 feet on Britton to take the lead of the Cat 1 race. Trace was eventually passed by Evan Guthrie and Kevin Noiles to finish third.
Peter Wedge
November 9th, 2003 — Peter Wedge of Team Kona pulls the big gear as he climbs a tricky hill on his way to winning the 2003 Canadian Cyclocross Championship race at Jericho Beach Park in Vancouver. More pictures HERE.
Bunny hop
November 21st, 2009 — Sven Sturm bunny hops a small log during the fourth annual Escape Velocity Grand Prix of Cyclocross at Burnaby’s Foreshore Park. Later this week I’ll upload a slide show from this event.
