November 23rd, 2024 — Patrick Condon speaking to about 500 people who attended a Pause the Plan rally at city hall today. The rally was to protest the eviction of renters who live along the Broadway corridor in low rise buildings which will be demolished so high that rise condominiums can be built in their place.

November 11th, 2024 — The facade of a demolished building at the corner of Robson and Beatty Streets is being saved so it can be part of the 29 story hotel/condominium tower that will replace it.
August 18th, 2024 — House soon to be demolished in the 4000 block of West 29th Avenue.
August 13th, 2024 — Prime development property at the north end of the Burrard Bridge.
May 2nd, 2024 — East of Cambie Street on West King Edward Blvd; the last holdout in the block.
March 2nd, 2024 — The above house in the 500 block of West 64th Avenue will soon be demolished and replaced by towers like those in the background. Meanwhile, in the picture below, only a few blocks away in the 7700 block of Osler Street, a new single family house nears completion.
January 11th, 2024 — What a difference a day makes. Above is the rear of 3781 West 18th Avenue on Thursday and below is the front of the house on Wednesday.
October 14th, 2023 — This house at 4522 North West Marine Drive is being demolished so a new, probably much bigger house, can be built in its place. It was built in 1995 and sold for $4.5 million in October of 2021. The most recent assessment had the house itself valued at $455,000. That’s a lot of money for rubble.
September 6th, 2023 — This house in the 600 block West 28th Avenue sold recently for about $4 million and will be demolished as part of a land assembly and replaced with 12 garden homes.
August 1st, 2023 — Moving Henry Hudson School along Cornwall Street to Kits Beach where it will be put on a barge and taken to North Vancouver.
